Angie Lewin RE RWS SWE (b.1963) studied printmaking at Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design and Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and now lives and works mostly in Scotland.
In recent years her work has received a tremendous amount of coverage in interior design magazines and as a result her prints are much sought after. Her lithographs, screenprints, linocuts and wood engravings are based on plant forms, especially seed heads, seen against the sea and sky. Influences include native plants of the Scottish Highlands and 1950’s design.
