Katrin Moye

Katrin Moye graduated in 1991 with a Joint Honours Degree in English and History of Art from the University of Nottingham. Between 1999-2000 she undertook a Professional Development Course in Ceramics.

She designs and makes decorative domestic ceramics for everyday use (they can go through a dishwasher !). Each piece is hand-thrown on a wheel and then decorated by hand.

She finds inspiration from traditional country pottery, especially from Eastern Europe, where her family originates. Other influences include textiles, vintage clothes and soft furnishings.

The Castle Gallery stocks her classic Hoops, Spots and Dandelion ranges in blue and white.
