She graduated from Bath College of Higher Education in 1990. A 'Setting Up Grant' from the Crafts Council
in 1994 was followed by a 'Development Grant' from West Midlands Arts in 1997.
Vivienne uses press moulding, coiling and slabbing techniques in her work. Coloured slips and under-glazes
are applied to the red earthenware clay and sgraffito and brushwork used to draw her witty domestic designs.
She has exhibited her work at venues throughout the U.K. including the V & A Museum, London.
