Emma Cameron was born on the Black Isle, Inverness-shire in 1964 and now lives and works in East Anglia.
She studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and Central St Martins College of Art
and Desgin in London, gaining her BA (Hons) in Fine art in 1985 and her Diploma in Fine Art in 1987.
Her oil paintings have a wonderful, calm narrative aura.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has said of her paintings "We love Emma Cameron's work for its confidence, its upbeat
palette and lyrical content. It is rare to find a contemporary figurative artist who can deal confidently
with symbolism."
Her work is featured in numerous private collections including that of Griff Rhys-Jones.
