Brenda Hartill

Brenda Hartill is a fellow of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers.

She has been working as a printmaker for over 20 years and specialises in limited edition collagraphs and etchings, with heavily embossed sculptural elements. She recently co-authored a book on Collagraphs for A. C. Black.

Her imagery expresses the form, structure, colour and textures of the world we live in. She has an interest in the primeval, essential structure of the Earth and its elements. Although inspiration may come from the landscape, the final image is often abstract.

Recently she has developed mixed media compilations or 'floating landscapes' which are one-off pieces.

Her work is featured in numerous private, public and corporate collections worldwide including those of BP, Bank of England and BT.
