Evelyn Pottie studied art at Edinburgh and Grays School of Art in Aberdeen.
She now lives and works in the Highlands.
Her hand-made screenprints and paintings are landscape based. They incorporate a strong design element with an interest in form, pattern and the tonal qualities found in the Highland landscape through the seasons.
Evelyn enjoys working with other artists and has been involved in community and school projects. She created huge photographic portraits for 'Imaging the Centre', a public art event in Inverness.
Her work has been recognised by way of awards and selection for national and international exhibitions.
