Samantha Peare

Samantha Peare is a self taught textile designer.

Using mainly recycled and vintage fabrics, she creates unique bags and purses. The inspiration for each piece often comes from the fabric itself; the texture, colour or patterns suggesting a suitable design.

Each item is individually embroidered using a combination of hand and free-machine embroidery. As each design is 'drawn' onto the fabric, no two pieces are the same.

Her motifs include birds, beetles, butterflies, dragonflies, bees and flowers.
