Louise Bird is based in Norfolk and has been printmaking for over 20 years. Her work has been exhibited widely including at the The Royal College of Art, The Society of Wildlife Artists and the Affordable Art Fair, New York. She always has looked towards natural history for inspiration and during her Fine Art Printmaking degree she became fascinated with bees which continues to this day. Louise enjoys using a range of printmaking techniques and especially mezzotint, which she then hand-colours to create her delicate prints. Her work has been used on many book covers including the Sunday Times bestseller 'A Sting in the Tale' by Dave Goulson.
