Sarah Jane Brown

Sarah Jane Brown (b. 1971) graduated with a BA (Hons) in Design from Staffordshire University and now lives and works in West Sussex. She has been sculpting with metal since 1994, creating miniature worlds reminiscent of a bygone era. She upcycles wood, tin cans, rusty nails and newspaper to create snapshots from life – maybe a park bench, a moored boat or a semi-detached house. She is also an extremely proficient knitter and conjures up comical cats and dogs from knitted lengths of wire.
The pieces shown below are indicative of the ranges we stock on a regular basis. Pieces may vary slightly from images shown as each piece is individually handmade.
