Blandine AndersonBlandine Anderson (b.1963) graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Exeter College of Art and Design and now lives and works in Devon. She is a ceramicist and painter, recently turned poet, writer and printmaker. Her sculptures, linocuts and paintings are inspired by her love of nature and a keen interest in cultural history and folklore. Blandine’s unique ceramics are hand-built in stoneware or porcelain clays and then painted with slips, oxides and enamel colours to create rich textural patterns in a range of warm colours. Blandine has established a reputation as an artist intent on pushing creative boundaries and has gained an enthusiastic following for her hugely collectable one-off sculptural works.
