Catriona MacKenzie studied at Edinburgh College of Art and then completed post-graduate diplomas in Blown and Carved Glass at the International Glass Centre, Dudley College in the West Midlands. She is inspired by the colours, shapes and textures of mycology and forests. Through the tactile qualities of her pieces she hopes to convey feelings of comfort, sanctuary and well-being.
