Emma Birts
Emma Birts (b.1979) graduated in Graphic Design from Bournemouth Art Institute and now lives in Bristol. She was brought up surrounded by animals and these characters have fired her imagination, together with her interest in children’s book illustrators such as Quentin Blake. She makes exquisite, characterful, hand-painted earthenware polar bears.
