Ian McWhinnie likes to travel and explore places from the warm climes of the Mediterranean to the colder, but equally inspiring, Moray Coast of Scotland. His native Glasgow also features in his work as do musicians - being a guitarist himself. His distinctive and slightly unnerving paintings have met with great critical acclaim since his first show in 2005 at the Castle Gallery.
