Veta Gorner
Veta Gorner RE is a British/Russian artist, born in St. Petersburg in 1974, but living in the UK for over twenty years. She is a consummate draughts-person and is constantly experimenting with materials and techniques in order to find new ways of drawing and printmaking. Her work is a fusion of design, engineering, sculpture, architecture, drawing, painting, logic and intuition. Veta Gorner is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.

Out Brief Candle Series
Veta Gorner’s ‘Out Brief Candle’ project is a thought-provoking interplay of words and images. It consists of more than forty hand-printed lithographs created over the past seven years and inspired by the words of William Shakespeare. Learn more about this series of works here.
