Victoria Crowe
Graal Press was established by Robert Adam and Carol Robertson in 1998 and since that time they have collaborated with many notable artists to create editions of original prints from their studio in the outskirts of Edinburgh. Carol and Robert were pioneers in the creation of screenprints and etchings using innovative, eco-friendly, water-based materials and have published seminal books on the subject with Thames & Hudson. They have worked with Victoria Crowe since 1998 and the prints offered for sale by the Castle Gallery have come from the Graal Press share of the editions. Victoria Crowe OBE, DHC, FRSE, MA (RCA), RSA, RSW (b. 1945) is one of Scotland’s most distinguished artists and examples of her work are in the National Portrait Gallery, London, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
